I got an HDMI splitter, that said it supports uncompressed audio, but apparently it does not. To be very clear, I am not interested, in any way, of hacking anything, I would just like to be able to run my full signal, into our bedroom tv. Also many boxes do verification of the firmware before loading, so if the firmware is edited it will refuse the update.
